The petitioner being husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 12.09.32013 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant within one month of the marriage for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and dead body was disposed of. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that victim died due to accidental burn injuries. Considering the nature of accusation, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. According, the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20403 of 2015 (3) dt.25-06-2015 2/2 application for bail of the petitioner in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No. 78 of 2013, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Danapur, Patna is rejected. However, learned court below is directed to expedite the trial.
