Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Memorial of the petitioner is pending since 2025 before the Director General of Police, Bihar, as contained in Annexures P/9 and P/10 to the writ petition, on which no order has been passed till date. Therefore, the petitioner has challenged the impugned orders seeking a direction for consideration of the said
Patna High Court CWJC No.1921 of 2026(2) dt.05-02-2026 2/2 Memorial.
3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the Memorial of the petitioner is pending before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna. Hence, the present writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the Director General of Police, Bihar, to pass an appropriate order on the Memorial.

In the light of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and without entering into the merits of the case, this Court directs respondent no.3, namely, the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna, to pass a reasoned order on the Memorial of the petitioner within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/communication of this order. It is expected that the Director General of Police, Bihar, shall consider all the points raised in the Memorial, including the judgments relied upon by the petitioner.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
