JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 17-03-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of U.A.P. Act.

The call for extortion money was given to informant through mobile phone, which was subsequently, recovered from possession of co-accused Manish Kumar and thereafter, aforesaid Manish Kumar and some other persons including petitioner were arrested in this case. Admittedly, nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and except confessional statement and the statements of some witnesses, who claimed to have seen the petitioner and others sitting in shop, there appears to

Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Kharagpur P.S.
