2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 614/2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/323/307/387/420/467/468/471/ 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of bail. Earlier his application was rejected vide order dated 28.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13587/2023.The petitioner is in jail since 07.11.2022.

4. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with other co-accused sold the land of the wife of the informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6207 of 2024(5) dt.03-05-2024 2/2 by executing sale deed in favour of the co-accused Brijesh Kumar. It is further alleged that they have also assaulted the informant and snatched Rs. 25,000/- and threatened to kill. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner and the prosecution are relatives and there is land dispute between them.

5.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Sherghati, Gaya/ concerned court in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 614/2021.
