The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Paras Bigha P.S. Case No. 151 of 2018, registered under Section 304(B)/34 of Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-VI, Jehanabad.

The accusation is of killing of daughter of informant by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is husband of deceased, is an unsound mind and he is in custody since 04.09.2018. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation against the petitioner and also

No.2344 of 2020(2) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 the fact that, admittedly, the deceased, daughter of informant, died at her matrimonial house within four years of her marriage due to head injury, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
