The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bangaon P.S. Case No. 40 of 2020 dated 16.06.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
At the time of measurement of a plot of land, there was a clash between the two groups of people including the petitioner and two persons from the side of the informant including the informant himself were

At the time of the occurrence, the injuries found on the persons of the informant and his brother were reported to be simple in nature. Later, by a supplementary injury report, the injury on the informant has been stated to be grievous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is counter version of the occurrence also lodged by the petitioner vide Bangaon P.S. Case No. 41 of 2020.
It has further been submitted that because of the land dispute between the parties, an occurrence may have taken place but no intention can be attributed on the petitioner of causing any life-threatening injury on anyone of the injured persons.
Regard being had to the aforesaid background facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15415 of 2021(2) dt.06-01-2022 3/3 furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Bangaon P.S. Case No. 40 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
