In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No. 317 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. As per allegation, on secret information, the police recovered huge quantity of illicit country made liquor (440 liters) from the seized vehicle (Bolero).

The petitioner is said to be the owner of the Bolero vehicle.

Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered as also considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
