Invoking the jurisdiction of this Court the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the concerned respondent to accept the joining of the petitioner on the post of School Teacher (11-12) in pursuant to her appointment letter no. MAD/ADV-27/2023/SAL/GT(1112)8813417 dated 13.01.2024 vide Annexure 04 and her posting letter no. MAD/ADV-27/2023/SAL/GT(11-12)9362136 dated 18.02.2024.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner referring to the averments made in the writ petition and the annexures appended thereto submitted that upon selection of the petitioner, she was send for Induction Training at Pusa, Samastipur for 11 days and upon completion of the same, she has also received training certificate. Soon thereafter the school was also allotted, but, in the meanwhile, the petitioner got seriously ill and she could not submit her joining. After having recovered from the illness, when the petitioner submitted her application to allow her to join, she has not been allowed. The District Education Officer, Madhepura also wrote a letter to the Director, Secondary Education and sought a guideline, in the matter of joining of the petitioner vide letter no. 234 dated 08.07.2024, but no response has been made at the level of the Director, hence the present writ petition.

Mr. Prashant Pratap, learned Government Pleader No. 2 submitted that twice the petitioner has been informed through the office order and press communique, but the petitioner failed to submit her joining and all the more, no application has been filed regarding illness and any inability to submit her joining within the period prescribed for joining.

5. Having considered the submissions advanced and

Patna High Court CWJC No.1740 of 2025(2) dt.01-11-2025 3/3 the materials available on record, this Court deems it fit and proper to relegate the matter to the Director, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar, Patna to take a decision in the matter preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law keeping in view the submissions made herein and the materials brought on record. It is made clear that this Court has not assigned any opinion on the merit of this case.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off.
