Following reliefs have been sought for in paragraph 1(i) and (ii) of the present application on behalf of the petitioner: "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent no. 2 for disposal of Arms License Case No. 12 of 2018 which is pending consideration before the Respondent no. 2 at least since 09.01.2018 in respect of which the petitioner had filed his application on 15.03.2017 and he has been recommended for grant of license by the Respondent nos. 4 to 9.
(ii) For a declaration that if application of the petitioner for grant of Arms License on account of danger to his life and property was recommended by the Respondent nos. 4 to 9, there was no occasion

Vide Annexure-1 to the present application, an application was made before the respondent no. 2 (the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra) on 15.03.2017 for grant of license under the Arms Act resulting in institution of Arms License Case No. 12 of 2018 but till date no final order has been passed in respect of the same.
The respondent no. 2 (the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra) is directed to consider the case and pass a final order in respect of Arms License Case No. 12 of 2018 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of this order.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
