In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.725/2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act.

Allegation has been made that the accused persons including the petitioner have tortured the complainant due to non- fulfilment of demand of the dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is mother-in-law of the complainant.

Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.207 of 2019(2) dt.11-01-2019 2/2 case, let the petitioner above-named be released on anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Complaint Case No.725/2017, Trial No.2543/2018 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
