2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the B.N.S..
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner, who was working as Manager-cum-Godown Incharge of Sarika Indian Gramin Distributer at Thumha, Supaul and was entrusted with custody of LPG stock, cash and official records, dishonestly misappropriated more than 200 14.02Kg LPG gas cylinder, 60 19Kg LPG gas cylinder, cash of Rs. 7,00,000/- and other documents.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3302 of 2026(3) dt.17-02-2026 2/2 committed no offence. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely on suspicion.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that being the Manager-cum-Godown Incharge of Sarika Indian Gramin Distributer at Thumha, Supaul, he misappropriated more than 200 pieces of 14.02Kg LPG gas cylinder, 60 pieces 19Kg LPG gas cylinder, cash of Rs. 7,00,000/- and other documents. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent of similar nature.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
