Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No.757 of 2017 for the offence allegedly committed by the petitioner under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the petitioner with the complainant was solemnized 17-18 years ago. Petitioner is ready to keep his wife. On some petty family dispute, the wife lodged this case making false allegation.
Taking into consideration the fact that the marriage of the petitioner with the complainant took place 17-18 years ago, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.673 of 2019(2) dt.16-01-2019 2/2 surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No.757 of 2017, giving rise to Trial No.1376 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
