Petitioner seeks bail in K.Hat P.S.Case No.145 of 2015 pending in the Court of CJM, Purnea registered for an offence under Sections 394 and 353 of the IPC.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 08.09.2015 passed in Cr.Misc.No.21704 of 2014. The informant, a police constable alleged that while going on his duty four persons intercepted him and snatched his service revolver. On chase, the petitioner was apprehended who disclosed the name of Anubhav Singh @ Anu, but did not disclose the name of two other accused persons.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12076 of 2016 (2) dt.24-08-2016 The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and hold the same on day to day basis and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
