The main grievance has been raised by the petitioner that he was not paid the amount of un-utilized leave encashment of 300 days but has been reduced by 131 days on account of strike.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the University wherein it has been clarified that he has been paid the amount of leave encashment after calculating the period of 293 days

Patna High Court CWJC No.24318 of 2018(4) dt.21-09-2020 2/2 amounting to Rs.15,75,539/-.

In such view of the matter, this application is disposed of.

However, it is made clear that if anything is outstanding in favour of the petitioner, he may approach by filing a representation to the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga within a period of four weeks. If such representation is filed, the Registrar will look into the matter and take a decision within a period of six weeks thereafter. If it is found anything is outstanding in favour of the petitioner, that should be paid to the petitioner without any delay.
