1. The present petition has been filed for modifying the order dated 06.12.2024, passed in Cr.Misc. No.78854 of 2024, to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned trial Court for the purposes of grant of anticipatory bail be further extended by a period of four weeks from today.
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of miscommunication, the petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated by this Court, however, he undertakes that now there will be no delay in surrendering before the learned trial Court, hence the time already granted to surrender be extended by a further period of four weeks from today.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4713 of 2025(2) dt.31-01-2025 2/2 case, I deem it fit and proper to modify the order dated 06.12.2024, passed in Cr.Misc. No.78854 of 2024 by extending the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court of Exclusive Special Excise Court-I, Sitamarhi, in connection with Riga P.S. Case No.215 of 2022, in order to be enlarged on anticipatory bail, by a further period of four weeks from today.
4. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off.
