At an earlier occasion prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected taking his status to be that of husband of deceased, died on account of strangulation at her Sasural. Prayer has been renewed on the strength of evidence of informant who has been examined as PW-1 (Annexure-4). From cross-examination, it is apparent that he has been gained over by the defence and that being so, the obligation lies upon the defence itself. Prayer for bail is rejected.
