====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 10-05-2019 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the State and the learned counsel appearing for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (hereinafter referred to as, 'the University'). Petitioner who retired as Lecturer senior scale in the Department of Zoology, B.R.B. Collecge, Samastipur, on 30.06.2013, a constituent college of the University, claims for payment of his remaining retiral dues. He submits that for the remaining retiral dues the petitioner has already represented before the Registrar of the University.
Patna High Court CWJC No.22794 of 2018(3) dt.10-05-2019 2/2 Considering the nature of claim, made by the petitioner, let the petitioner file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 5, the registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, regarding his pending retiral benefits head-wise which will be disposed of within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. Any amount due to the petitioner would be paid within one month thereof. If certain amounts are inadmissible, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner sent through registered post.
The University would also consider while sanctioning retiral benefits as the fixation of pay scale by the statutory pay fixation committee of the University has already been done on 06.09.2013 and payment would be made on the post of Lecturer, senior scale, with admissible interest.
The writ application stands disposed of, accordingly. (Nilu Agrawal, J) Shamshad/- U
