This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Kuchaikote PS Case No. 69 of 2017 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Today supplementary affidavit has been filed by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner making correction as to the age of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the father-in-law and he is aged 70 years having no criminal antecedent. He submits that in the instant case allegation is that the accused persons strangulated the daughter

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.570 of 2019(3) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 of the informant. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 27.07.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, is 70 years of old and he is in custody since 27.07.2018, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate- VII, Gopalganj in connection with Kuchaikote PS Case No. 69 of 2017.
