Petitioner is accused in connection with Barahampur P.S. Case No. 592 of 2018/Ex.GR. No. 991 of 2018 registered under Sections 30(a)/41 of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2019.
