Perused the writ petition and the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents.

In the instant writ petition the grievance of the petitioner is mainly that though she had submitted written report regarding a cognizable offence to the S.H.O. of Town Police Station, Araria on 05.03.2017, no FIR was instituted. She has prayed for issuance of a direction to the respondents, particularly, the S.H.O. of Town Police Station, Araria to institute an FIR on the basis of the written report submitted by her on 05.03.2017.

In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State, it has been stated that on the basis of the written report of the petitioner, Araria P.S. Case No. 166 of 2017 has already been registered against the private respondents under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 436, 354, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Since the grievance raised by the petitioner has already been redressed, the application is disposed of. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Pradeep/- U T
