Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 344 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498 (A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is a case of matrimonial dispute. As per allegation, the petitioner who is husband of the complainant, and other accused persons tortured her for non-fulfillment of dowry

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14633 of 2021(6) dt.26-09-2022 2/2 demand. The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. The report of the Mediation Centre dated 23.08.2022 is on the record which shows that both the parties have compromised the case and cordial relation has been restored. The petitioner agreed to pay Rs. 2000/- per month to his wife (opposite party no. 2) and he shall incur the medical expenses of opposite party no. 2 and his children. They also agreed to withdraw all the cases pending between them.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Dehri-on-sone, Rohtas in connection with Complaint Case No. 344 of 2017, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
