The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 926 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 307, 506, 504 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
The allegation against the petitioner is that the informant was intercepted by the petitioner along with unknown accused persons while he was going on Scooty and the petitioner banged his head on the road and also snatched a sum of Rs. 5500/- from the pocket of the informant and his wrist watch.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to political rivalry inasmuch as both the parties are co-villager. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2869 of 2020(3) dt.20-03-2020 2/2 submits that the petitioner is in custody since 15.11.2019. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that no serious apparent injury has been found on the person of the informant, both the parties are co- villager and petitioner is in custody since 15.11.2019 , I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Araria P.S.
