The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No.2307 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The gist of the allegation is that while the police was checking the vehicle, the petitioner fled away after leaving the vehicle and on search, 2.250 liters of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the dickey of the motorcycle of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is a student but it appears that petitioner was carrying liquor from his motorcycle and the petitioner fled away after leaving the motorcycle on the spot.
