The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 934 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 61 litres of liquor from house and a car standing in front of the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner stays in a joint family property and as such was not

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Town P.S.
