The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a criminal prosecution registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration the fact that as many as three more criminal cases of similar and serious nature apart from the present one are pending against the petitioner, which is evident from the averments made in paragraph 3 of the anticipatory bail application, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made on his behalf for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Vaishali P.S. Case No.50 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur is rejected.

However, if he surrenders in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and applies for regular bail, then the same shall be considered and decided on its own merits without being prejudiced by the present order. Arvind/- (Birendra Prasad Verma, J) U T
