2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 103(1) of the BNS.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who is the stepmother-in-law of the deceased (informant's daughter) has killed her.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the very specific facts of this case are that in this case the husband of the deceased has not been made an accused nor he has been made a witness. It has further been submitted that this case has been filed with a view to grab the property of the petitioner. He has

No.4891 of 2026(3) dt.11-05-2026 2/3 further submitted that during course of investigation, the witnesses have stated that the deceased has come to the house of this petitioner at festivals. Generally, she lives at Haryana and there had been scuffle between them. Learned counsel has further submitted that from perusal of the post-mortem report, it transpires that the doctor conducting the autopsy of the deceased has found following injuries:- A bruise, oval shaped and brownish black in colour is present on right cheek. Multiple brown-black abrasions are noted on right side of neck. Bleeding is present from left nostril. The doctor conducting the autopsy has opined that opinion is reserved till FSL report.
Learned counsel has submitted that the ante-mortem injuries which are found on the person of the deceased are superficial in nature, that is why, the doctor could not give opinion regarding the cause of death. A statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and she is a lady. Moreover, she is languishing in judicial custody since 09.08.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with
