The petitioner is the wife of the opposite party, namely, Abhishek Prasar who has filed this application for transfer of Divorce Case No. 10/2017 from the Principal Judge, Family Court, Saharsa to Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya. The petitioner is a young lady who is staying at Gaya depending upon her old and ailing parents. It is causing much inconvenience to her to travel to Saharsa from Gaya to contest the matrimonial case.

Considering the facts of the case, the Divorce Case No. 10/2017 is directed to be transferred from the Principal Judge, Family Court, Saharsa to Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya.

Patna High Court MJC No.544 of 2021(4) dt.05-07-2022 2/2 After transfer of the case in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya, the Principal Judge, Gaya, will issue notice to both the parties and, thereafter, the proceeding will continue in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is allowed.
