JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02/ 10-07-2015 Heard learned senior counsels for the petitioner and the Vigilance.

The petitioner being Inspector of Police is languishing in custody since 18.03.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7, 13(2) read with Section 13(1) (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

The prosecution case is that the petitioner was trapped while accepting illegal gratification of Rs.15,000/-, though the petitioner demanded Rs.50,000/- for exonerating the complainant from a criminal case i.e. Tariyani P.S. Case No. 10 of 2015.

Considering the fact that the investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioner, be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22792 of 2015 (2) dt.10-07-2015 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No. 06 of 2015 arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 21 of 2015.
