Learned counsel has emphasized on the letter alleged to have been written by the detenue Laxmi Tanti, who is stated to be 18-19 years of age.
She is lodged in Government Protection Home at Gaighat, Patna.
The petitioner has nowhere disclosed his bona fides in moving of this petition. During oral submissions, learned counsel submits that the girl is a friend of the petitioner. We are least
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.2883 of 2018 dt.22-01-2019 2/2 interested with such disclosures and we do not find the petitioner to be a genuine of bona fide person seeking the relief in the exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
So far as the release of the girl is concerned, it will be open to the appropriate person to bring it to the notice of the concerned forum in the event there is any proof of the age of majority of the girl for passing of an appropriate order.
