2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sitamarhi Cyber P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequently, Sections 357©, 354(D), 509 of the IPC and Sections 14(1), 15 of the POCSO Act and 66(C) , 66(E), 67, 67(B) of the IT Act were added.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of making the photographs of the informant viral on social media.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4946 of 2025(5) dt.02-07-2025 2/2 petitioner and the victim were in a relationship and the petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. The photographs of the intimate moments of the petitioner along with the informant have been made viral on the social media which has come during the investigation
7. In these circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
8. The trial is directed to be expedited.
