The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali P.S. Case No. 21 of 2012, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 255, 256, 257, 258, 259, 260, 420 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner affixed judicial stamp of Rs. 6560/- in the First Appeal No. 234 of 2005. During enquiry it was found that the signature of the petitioner was on the stamp and the same stamp was not issued from the franking machine of the post-office of the High Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 14.07.2014.

It appears that the petitioner is habitual offender of affixing counterfeit stamp on the judicial record.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6186 of 2015 (4) dt.05-05-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
