2. The present M.J.C petition is filed for noncompliance of the order dated 06.01.2020 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 17769 of 2018. It is necessary to reproduce the order of this Court.

"We dispose of the writ petition reserving liberty to the petitioners or similarly situated persons to approach the appropriate authorities in accordance with law for release of the monetary compensation, if not so already released.

We are hopeful that as and when any such request is received by the appropriate authorities, the same shall be considered and decided with reasonable dispatch.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms."

3. The petitioners were stated to have approached the concerned authorities and the concerned/competent authority has taken a decision that the petitioners are not entitled to compensation. Such a decision was recorded in the note sheet and it is not in the form of speaking order.

4. Pursuant to our previous order, speaking order has been passed on 08.07.2023. In the light of these development, the present contempt petition stands dropped reserving liberty to the petitioners to assail the order dated 08.07.2023 in the

Patna High Court MJC No.91 of 2022(5) dt.13-07-2023 3/3 manner know to the law.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the present lis is very old one, therefore, it is necessary to decide the petitioners' lis at the earliest. In this regard, the petitioners are at liberty to make necessary request before the competent forum to decide their matter.
