The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mahindwara P.S. Case No.51 of 2021 registered under Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner. The name of the petitioner surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of the driver of the truck, who is inimical to the petitioner. He also submits that the petitioner is neither the owner of the vehicles in question nor has any concern with the seized liquor. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
