2. In the instant petition, the petitioner prays for directing the respondents to settle the land bearing Khata No.2, plot no.1254, measuring an area of 2 Bigha 13 Katha situated in Mouja-Muswa under the Sugauli Block, District East Champaran, Motihari in the name of the petitioner because the land had been settled in the name of the father of the petitioner namely, Timal Sahani by the Bettiah Raj.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this case may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a

Patna High Court CWJC No.7314 of 2017(3) dt.03-12-2024 2/2 detailed representation before appropriate authority.

4. Learned counsel for the respondent-State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioner.

5. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner, as prayed for.

6. If the petitioner files the said representation before the appropriate authority within four weeks, the concerned authority shall dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within four months from the date of filing of the said representation.
