24-02-2025 Earlier, vide order dated 12.02.2025, the anticipatory bail petition of petitioner no. 2 (Rohit Kumar) already stood dismissed as withdrawn.

2. Sole petitioner i.e. Pankaj Kumar apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 126, 329(4), 109, 115, 352, 351(3), 75 & 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. It is alleged that on 13.10.2024 at 7:00 PM, this petitioner alongwith co-accused Rohit Kumar and 3-4 unknown persons forcibly entered in the house of informant and assaulted informant and his family members. This petitioner alongwith co-accused Rohit Kumar dragged informant from the house with Gamachha and tried to strangulate him, whereas other accused assaulted on informant's head with butt of pistol.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both parties are Gotiyas & next door neighbours and due to petty dispute, a simple Maarpeet took place. As per injury report, injury is simple in nature. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner namely Pankaj Kumar, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Manikpur P.S. Case No. 118 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
