JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-08-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to renew / register the arms license of the petitioner herein bearing Arms Licence No. 34 of 2015 issued by the District Magistrate, Latehar, Jharkhand. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for renewal / registration of his aforesaid arms license before the District Arms Magistrate, Patna on 13.01.2017, after 'No Objection Certificate' has been issued for the purposes of renewal by the District Arms Magistrate, Latehar, however, no action has been taken by the District Arms Magistrate, Patna, in this regard.

Having regard to the limited prayer of the petitioner herein, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.7059 of 2017(3) dt.29-08-2019 2/2 Magistrate, Patna to consider the aforesaid case of the petitioner by passing appropriate orders, if not already passed, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
