JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-03-2025 Heard Mr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. Shahabuddin Azeem @ S. Azeem, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 451 of 2023 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 448, 379, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, the accused persons named therein including the petitioners have assaulted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7527 of 2025(2) dt.06-03-2025 2/3 the informant and his family members by means of lathi, danda and rod. Further allegation is that they also snatched the Mangal Sutra from the neck of the informant's wife.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that petitioners are innocent and there is no specific overt act against the petitioners and the allegation against the petitioners is general and omnibus. He further submitted that petitioners, who are ladies, have clean antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail.

6. Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioners to be general and omnibus and also the fact that they are ladies, having clean antecedent, I am of the opinion that petitioners have, prima facie, made out a case to be released on pre-arrest bail.

7. The petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. 1, Bhojpur at Ara in connection
