The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 191 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.11.2018. He further submits that 21.705 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the house of this petitioner and as such the petitioner has been made accused in the instant case. He further submits that the petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3919 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 191 of 2018.
