JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 04-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and State. The petitioners have filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondent to determine inter se seniority of the teachers appointed pursuant to Advertisement No. 1/88 / 1/95. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that till date the respondents have not worked out the seniority of the petitioners appointed after marathon litigation, which traveled up to the Apex Court.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6805 of 2017 dt.04-04-2018 2/2 In view of the prayer made in the writ application, the Court is of the view that the respondent Director, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar is required to take steps for preparation of seniority list of the teachers, who were appointed pursuant to advertisement no. 1/88 / 1/95, if not already completed, be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The respondents are obliged to publish the provisional gradation list and after inviting objections may finalize the gradation list within the time frame as indicated hereinabove. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
