2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dalsinghsarai P.S. Case No. 216 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, Rs. 1,26,000/- approx has been looted from the informant by the criminals.

4. During investigation, materials have come to connect the petitioner with the crime. The petitioner is accused in four more cases of similar and serious nature. The petitioner is in jail since 31.08.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is involved

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5953 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 in a loot and have criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial.

9. If the trial is delayed due to the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
