2. In compliance with the order of this Court, a show cause has been filed on behalf of opposite party nos. 4 to 7. It is specifically averred that the University examined the claim of the petitioner pertaining to grant of ACP/MACP benefits and on being found entitled for payment of Rs.636229/-, after adjusting the amount already paid from time to time, the remaining amount through Bank Draft dated 30.10.2025 has been prepared

Patna High Court MJC No.95 of 2022 dt.21-11-2025 2/2 in the name of the Principal of the concerned college for making payment to the petitioner. The Bank Draft has been received by the petitioner himself on 31.10.20225. Further an amount of Rs.48900/- has been paid to the petitioner towards the remaining leave encashment. A chart of calculation has also been placed on record.

3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner however submits that with regard to due arrears of salary, show cause is silent, besides he has certain reservation regarding calculation.

4. In view of the submission advanced by the learned Advocates for the respective parties, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to continue with the contempt proceeding. Accordingly, the present contempt proceeding stands closed.

5. However, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the calculation and he has still any grievance with regard to the due amount, he shall be at liberty to approach before the concerned authority, who shall consider the same accordingly.
