Petitioner is not named in the first information report nor stolen idol was recovered from his conscious possession. Annexure-2 to this petition shows that the stolen idol was recovered from a field. Petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and it appears that except confessional statement and suspicion, there is nothing against the petitioner.
