JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 07-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State as also learned counsel representing Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation.

2. The instant petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):- "(i). For directing the respondent authorities to make payment to the petitioner the compensation amount of acquisition of land in question on continuous lease for the purpose of construction of the approach road to the Digha-Sonepur Road-cum-Road

Patna High Court CWJC No.7054 of 2017(8) dt.07-07-2025 2/3 Bridge being constructed by the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited under the Bihar Raiyati Lease Policy, 2014.

(ii) For also directing to make payment of the consequential interest and other allied benefits on the said compensation amount.

(iii) For any other relief/reliefs to which the Petitioner may be found entitled to, in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Pursuant to the last order, the supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 03 to 05 and learned counsel has taken this Court to paragraph no. 6 of the said affidavit to show that the petitioner has alternative remedy under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in short "LARRA". In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the competent authority/Court but there has been delay in filing of the petition.

4. In case, the petition is preferred within a period of four weeks from today, the concerned authority/Court shall take notice of the fact that the petitioner was pursuing remedy before this Court since year 2017 while disposing off the limitation
