2. It is informed by both the counsels that the boy has been produced by respondent no. 6 before the Court below and his statement has been recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. A xerox copy of the 164 Cr.P.C. statement has been

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.696 of 2017 dt.18-05-2017 produced for our perusal by learned counsel for the State. It appears therefrom that the boy has shown his hand before the Court concerned and has stated that his hand was burnt by his aunt (phua). It is surprising that the boy was not sent for medical examination. Learned counsel for the petitioner informed that a petition in this regard has been filed before the Court below.

3. Be that as it may, since the boy has already been recovered, we are inclined to close this matter. However, the Court below is directed to immediately get the boy medically examined by a medical board. The petitioner will produce the boy immediately before the Court below along a copy of this judgment. Thereafter, steps would be taken for examination of the boy by a medical board without delay.
