Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel for the informant.
The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhauradano P.S. Case No.128 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner in his confessional statement before the police has stated that he had killed the deceased by stabbing and the knife used in the crime has been recovered by the police
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4592 of 2022(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 pursuant to the statement made by the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 03.06.2021. In such a heinous crime the petitioner does not deserve to be released on bail. Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for bail is dismissed.
The Court below is directed to expedite the trial. Mr. Uma Shankar Prasad Singh, learned APP for the State has appeared in the case yesterday (23.05.2022) as well as today also.
