This writ application has been preferred for quashing of the first information report of Bisffi P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier when the writ application was taken up for consideration, no one had appeared on behalf of the petitioner but this Court adjourned the matter by way of last indulgence.

A perusal of the reliefs in the writ application shows that it is in respect of a first information report which was lodged in the year 2017. There is no information as to whether the investigation of the case has been completed and the learned court below has proceeded with the matter or not. In absence of further information, this Court finds no reason to keep the writ application pending. It is being disposed off as having become infructuous but with liberty to the petitioner that in case he gets aggrieved by the result of the investigation or the subsequent order passed by the learned court below, liberty will be there for him to seek his remedy in accordance with law.
