2. The present application is filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their willful and deliberate action in non-compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court passed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh dated 15.12.2017 in C.W.J.C. No. 17863 of 2016 and further be pleased to award

Patna High Court MJC No.60 of 2019(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/2 appropriate punishment to the erring opposite parties for their non-compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court and/or for any order/or orders may be passed in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. A show cause on behalf of the opposite party nos. 2 to 5 is on record and learned State counsel Mrs. Nutan Sahay to submit that after enquiry, the District Magistrate has taken into account that the oppostite party no. 6 belongs to 'Sheikh' caste whereafter he has directed the Circle Officer, Baisi to take steps for cancellation of caste certificate of the opposite party no. 6.

4. The opposite party no. 6 has already approached this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 98 of 2019 against the said order.

5. Since, the District Magistrate, Purnea has already taken steps against the opposite party no. 6, no contempt is made out.

6. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands disposed.
