The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sherghatti (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 546 of 2020 dated 17.10.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 307 & 325/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the father of the Informant by means of Khanti on his head. The injury report which is part of the case diary indicates that the victim has received four injuries, three out of which appear to be absolutely superficial. With respect to one injury, the opinion has not been given, awaiting further medical investigative reports.

Considering these aspects of the matter, the petitioner was granted provisional bail by order dated 04.03.2022. The case diary which has been sent to this Court does not contain any final opinion regarding the nature of injury suffered by the victim. However, on finding the injuries on the person of the victim to be superficial, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is hereby confirmed. The petitioner shall remain on the same bail bonds. The application stands disposed of.
