1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending their arrest in connection with Purnea Complaint Case no. 2007 of 2019 registered under sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the complainant states that the accused persons including the two petitioners herein executed a registered sale deed in favour of other co-accused with respect to a land belonging to the complainant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4264 of 2026(4) dt.29-04-2026 2/2 petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case, which is purely civil dispute between the parties. Referring to the documents with respect to the land in question brought on record as Annexure-P/2 to the petition, it is submitted that the petitioners have title over the disputed land. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent and undertake to cooperate in the investigation/trial.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioners in the complaint, the materials on record and the petitioners not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that both the petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Purnea Complaint Case no. 2007 of 2019 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea.
