This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Nawanagar P.S. Case No.179 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under sections 376, 313, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, under section 4 of the POCSO Act and under section 3(1)(r)(s), 3(2)(v) of the S.C./S.T. Act. 3.

The petitioner had sexual relationship with the victim, who was 14 years old. The victim, in her deposition, has supported the prosecution case.

The petitioner is in custody since 26.05.2023.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9245 of 2025(2) dt.19-02-2025 2/2 against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
